Following the regional move to COVID-19 Alert Level 2, Bowl and Social is pleased to announce that we will re-open with stringent COVID-19 'Delta' Alert Level 2 measures in place.
During this time, we will only be able to take phone bookings. Please call us on 07 838 3926 to book a lane.
Additionally, we have introduced new Health and Safety measures to minimise the risk of transmission under Alert Level 2. With the health and safety of our staff and guests being our number one priority, please keep the following in mind:
- Each booking will have a 2 game minimum, per person requirement.
- All customers visiting Bowl and Social must be wearing a mask over their nose and mouth, unless actively eating or drinking.
- There will be a 30 minute window between bookings, to enable staff to clean the area and to prevent cross contamination of groups. Please ensure that you leave the area in a timely manner once you have finished your games.

How do we get to Bowl and Social?
Bowl and Social is located on Level Two of SkyCity Hamilton and is accessible via stairs and the lifts (mobility access via lifts).
Can kids bowl by themselves?
No, children under the age of 14 cannot be left unattended anywhere within the SkyCity Hamilton precinct including Bowl and Social.
Are there toilets available?
Yes, there are toilets available within the Bowl and Social outlet.
Can people in wheelchairs come to Bowl and Social?
Bowl and Social is fully wheelchair accessible. Mobiliy access to Level Two is via the lifts and there is a ramp access to the bowling lanes.
When is Bowl and Social open?
Bowl and Social is open every day from 9am to 10pm, Sunday - Thursday and 9am to 11pm, Friday and Saturday.
Do I have to pay to hire shoes and bowling balls?
No, use of bowling shoes and balls is including in the game pricing and packages.
Does the booking include free parking?
SkyCity does not offer free parking when you dine. We offer discounted parking rates at $5 for the first two hours and $1 for every hour after, if you spend a minimum of $20 at any of the outlets. You will be required to validate your ticket at the outlet in order to get the discounted rates. You can find out more about our parking options here
Can we bring a cake with us?
Yes, most SkyCity Hamilton outlets will allow customers to bring their own cakes, when they have made a booking. Please discuss with the relevant manager of the outlet about bringing your own cake.
Is your meat Halal?
While most of our meat suppliers are Halal certified, all meat preparation is completed in a SkyCity Hamilton central kitchen so we cannot guarantee that meat is Halal.
If a group has a person celebrating a birthday, does the birthday person bowl for free?
No, unfortunately not.
Can I bring my own food?
Unfortunately, no. As we are a licensed premise, no outside food or drink is allowed to be brought into Bowl and Social.
