Before you arrive
You must be 20 years or older to enter the gaming areas (R20), and a valid government-issued photo ID is required. Acceptable forms include a current passport or a current New Zealand or Australian driver's licence.

At SkyCity Hamilton, we are proud to provide you with a world-class environment to enjoy. We require a neat and tidy standard of dress at all times. SkyCity reserves the right to refuse entry where patrons are not appropriately dressed, or if their attire is deemed potentially offensive to others.
The following items are not permitted at SkyCity Hamilton:
- Torn or damaged clothing (except fashionably distressed items)
- Dirty clothes or footwear
- Face paint/decoration is generally not allowed (small decorations that don't detract from the customer's appearance may be permitted)
- Safety or trade clothing (e.g. safety vests)
- Gang patches, gang affiliated clothing or insignia
- Hats or caps (except for religious or medical reasons)
- Sunglasses
You must be aged 20 years or older to enter the Gaming areas at SkyCity. The below forms of identification are accepted:
A current New Zealand or overseas passport
A current New Zealand driver licence
A current Hospitality Association (HANZ) 18+ card
Any other current ID with a photo, date of birth, and which is the product of a government institution.

Verifying your details at SkyCity
SkyCity may require additional forms of identification under the Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Financing of Terrorism Act 2009.
The following forms of ID are accepted by SkyCity when requested by cashiers or tables:
- A current New Zealand or overseas passport
- A current New Zealand driver licence that can pass validation
- A current New Zealand Firearms licence
- A current Foreign Identity card with a photo, name, date of birth, another Biometric measure and which is the product of a government institution.

The maximum height for vehicles in the SkyCity car park is 2.1 metres.
Yes, if you have sufficient Rewards Points or a car parking credit accrued on your card. Your SHOW by SkyCity or Premier Rewards card can be swiped at the parking machines to exit. Please note, some car parking credits are required to be activated at a Rewards Kiosk before redemption.
At SkyCity there are two ways to control your gambling: Self-identified exclusion and Third Party Exclusion. You can either call and speak to our Host Responsibility team on 09 363 6000, or if you are at the Casino, please visit the Security desk or speak to one of our security team. You must be aged 20 years or older to sign up to Premier Rewards Programme. SkyCity is a responsible host.
