Why should I join the SHOW by SkyCity Rewards programme? 

SHOW by SkyCity Rewards members will be eligible to earn Rewards Points across participating outlets at any SkyCity and redeem them for rewards!

How do I join the SHOW by SkyCity Rewards programme? 

You can sign up online here, at a SHOW by SkyCity kiosk or with assistance at a Guest Services Desk on the main casino floor at SkyCity. To complete sign up, you must provide your name, contact details, a residential address and valid photo ID (passport or NZ/AU driver's licence). 

During the sign up process, you will be asked whether you'd like to opt-in to SHOW by SkyCity Rewards.

It will take 3-5 minutes to complete the sign up process.

What happens to all my Premier Points, Premier Bonus Dollars and QUICK Pay balance when I switch to a SHOW by SkyCity card?

You can continue to use your current Premier Rewards card at SkyCity.

Your existing membership tier and all accrued Premier Points and Premier Bonus Dollars will all transfer across to our newly branded loyalty programme, SHOW by SkyCity Rewards when you collect your new card. 

All benefits and rewards you received as a Premier Rewards member remain unchanged. We plan on evolving the SHOW by SkyCity Rewards programme in the future and will share updates when we can.

Current Premier Rewards members will be invited to pick up their SHOW by SkyCity Rewards card and a valid photo ID will be required at collection.

NB: If additional information is required in order to collect your card, a Guest Services host will be able to assist in this instance.

Do I need a card to play at SkyCity?

Carded play is being rolled out in phases across all SkyCity Casinos in NZ. This means that soon a customer must have a SHOW by SkyCity card or current Premier Rewards card to play.

This is part of SkyCity's commitment to host responsibility and preventing financial crime. To support a safe and responsible gaming experience, we will ask new customers a few more questions when they sign up and offer them the choice to opt-in to the SHOW by SkyCity Rewards programme.

If a user does not opt-in to the SHOW by SkyCity Rewards programme they can still complete enrolment and get a SHOW by SkyCity card to play.

How do I earn Rewards Points?

Simply insert your SHOW by SkyCity Rewards card when you play Gaming Machines or present your rewards card at a Table Game at SkyCity, when making a purchase at participating SkyCity outlets and when you check-in to a SkyCity hotel.  

How do I redeem Rewards Points? 

Every 100 Rewards Points = $1 in value and can be used right across SkyCity. 

You can turn your Rewards Points into play on a Gaming Machine by inserting your SHOW by SkyCity Rewards card into the card reader, entering your PIN number and selecting 'Balance' . You can then choose how many Rewards Points to turn into credits. Alternatively you can turn your Rewards Points into Table Game play by visiting the cashier and asking to turn your Rewards Points into Bonus Play Chips*.

You can also use your Rewards Points to pay at the SkyCity bars and restaurants, hotels and at the Sky Tower**. Just hand your SHOW by SkyCity Rewards card to the cashier at the time of purchase.

*Daily limits apply. Bonus Play Chips not accepted on Rapid Roulette and Poker.

** Rewards Points cannot be redeemed for SkyPix, SkyWalk or SkyJump.

How do I find out my Rewards Points balance?

You can check your Rewards Points balance on-site at SkyCity at any SkyCity Rewards Kiosk, at a Gaming Machine or at a Guest Services Desk. You can also check your balance by logging into your SHOW by SkyCity Rewards account at showbyskycity.co.nz/login or on the SkyCity app (iOS or Android). 

What are Rewards Dollars?

Rewards Dollars are different to Rewards Points.  Rewards Dollars are gifted or awarded to SHOW by SkyCity Rewards members from time to time and, subject to daily limits, can only be redeemed for Gaming Machine credits to use on selected Gaming Machines at SkyCity Hamilton and/or Bonus Play Chips to use on selected Table Games at SkyCity Hamilton. 

One Rewards Dollar equals $1 in Gaming Machine credits or $1 in Bonus Play Chips. Rewards Dollars are valid for 3 months from the time of issue. 

How do I move up a tier? 

All SHOW by SkyCity Rewards members start off in the Ruby tier.  

When you opt in to the SHOW by SkyCity Rewards programme and earn the requisite number of Rewards Points over a continuous 6 month period (“Review Period”), you may be offered membership to a higher tier with greater benefits.

  • Ruby tier - less than 200 Premier Points
  • Sapphire tier - 200 Rewards Points or more
  • Gold tier - 3,500 Rewards Points or more
  • Platinum tier - by invitation only
  • VIP Black tier - by invitation only

If you don't earn the requisite number of Rewards Points over the relevant Review Period, your membership tier may be re-graded accordingly.

SkyCity will notify you in writing after the relevant review period advising you if you have been re-graded to a higher or lower tier.  We will generally not contact you if you remain in the same tier following a review period.

If I sign up to the SHOW by SkyCity Rewards Programme in Hamilton, can I also earn and redeem Rewards Points at SkyCity Auckland or SkyCity Queenstown using the same SHOW by SkyCity Rewards card? 

Yes you can (and vice versa)! To earn Rewards Points, simply present your SHOW by SkyCity Rewards card when you play Gaming Machines or Table Games, or when making a purchase at participating outlets, at SkyCity Auckland or SkyCity Queenstown. 

To redeem your Rewards Points, present your SHOW by SkyCity Rewards card to the cashier at the participating outlet at SkyCity Auckland or SkyCity Queenstown.   

Please note that the rewards offered at each of the SkyCity properties in New Zealand will differ depending on the facilities available at each of those sites. 

Enquire at a SHOW by SkyCity Guest Services Desk to find out what rewards are available at each of those properties. 

NB: Your SHOW by SkyCity Player card can be used to play at any SkyCity Casino in NZ. 

How can I update my SHOW by SkyCity account details? 

It's easy to update your details. Simply visit the Guest Services Desk at SkyCity on your next visit, together with your SHOW by SkyCity card, and our friendly staff can update your details.  Please note that valid photo ID may also be required. You can check your account details at any time via SkyCity's app or online at showbyskycity.co.nz.

I've lost my SHOW by SkyCity card - can I get a new one? 

Yes. Simply take a valid form of photo ID to the SHOW by SkyCity Guest Services Desk at SkyCity on your next visit and our friendly staff will issue you a replacement card.  Please note that we do not mail cards to members. 

Can I share my SHOW by SkyCity card with someone else? 

No. Membership is personal to an individual member and is not transferable, so only the member named on a SHOW by SkyCity card can use that card.

There are various ways you can stay up to date with the latest SkyCity Hamilton offers and promotions:

What if I don't have enough Rewards Points to redeem a reward? 

If you don't have enough Rewards Points, you can use a combination of Rewards Points and money. 

You can redeem Rewards Points for food and beverages at participating SkyCity Hamilton outlets or accommodation at SkyCity Hotel, Grand by SkyCity hotel or Horizon by SkyCity.

How long will my Rewards Points be valid for? 

Rewards Points are valid for 6 months from the date of accrual. Rewards Points not redeemed within 6 months from accrual will expire. 

What ID will I need to provide to sign up to SHOW by SkyCity? 

You will need to provide one of the following forms of photo identification: 

  1. your current New Zealand or Australian passport; or 
  2. your current New Zealand or Australian driver's licence; or 
  3. your current foreign passport (containing your name, date of birth, photograph and signature). 

If you do not have one of the above forms of ID, please enquire at the Guest Services Desk.
